Those first days with your baby are beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, and somehow gone before you’re ready for them to be. Their tiny fingers, the way they curl into your chest, the sleepy stretches, the little sounds they make in your arms… these are the details you think you’ll always remember.
But time has a way of softening the edges of those memories.
My newborn sessions are about preserving more than how your baby looked. They’re about documenting how it felt to become a family.
We’ll slow down and make space for all of it: the tiny details, the snuggles, the sibling kisses, the way your baby fits perfectly against you, and the moments in between. Your baby doesn’t need to sleep the entire time, and your toddler doesn’t need to sit perfectly still. There’s no pressure to make everything look perfect.
You just get to be together.
I’ll guide you through the session with a calm, relaxed approach so you can focus on your baby rather than wondering what to do with your hands or how to pose. Whether your little one needs to be fed, changed, rocked, or held for a few extra minutes, we’ll follow their lead.
Because someday, your baby won’t fit in your arms quite like this.
And you’ll be so glad you have photographs that let you remember it.
Newborn sessions are available in my Union County, NJ studio and are designed to be relaxed, intimate, and centered around your family.
